Today we are going to prepare for the National Test.
We will be using the book:
"Improve your writing"
1. Checklist
I will print out the checklist for you and go through it at the beginning of the lesson.
2. Then working in pairs I want you to go through three of the sections at the end of the book.
- Spelling 1- Say the word in English- Your partner translates into Swedish and spells the word correctly- 1 point for correct translation and 2 points for correct spelling. Add up total after 10-15 minutes
- Spelling 2- Take one section each (single words/ mix-ups). Do as in Spelling 1
- Important verbs- discuss the use of the words BRIEFLY
Finally, write outlines for TWO of the topics at the beginning of the book. Which key words would you use?
The topics are:
- People
- Places
- Trash
- Pets
- Cheating
Tomorrow we will be in room 1126 at 8 a.m.
Make sure you come on time with appropriate materials (no computers/smartphones..but a pencil/pen etc.).
The afternoon lesson tomorrow will be replaced by the Test.. Good luck!
Next week
Monday's lesson will be cancelled but Tuesday's lesson will be at 12.30 together with the up-and-coming students for SA program. Try not to scare them off!!!!

Points to remember
1. Always state your name at the beginning of the recording
2. Always follow the instructions for the task
3. Always use the materials you have.
4. Never Read out something you have written down.
5. TRY to get a conversation going
6. USE link words and phrases to make the conversation more interesting
7. LISTEN to what your partner is actually saying
Finally at the end of the session:
SAVE your file and back it up (on your docs)
Always use the format: TOPIC_name_name
MAIL your file directly to me on first class or gmail

We need to make an adjustment to the planner for week 19...
If you don't write on the paper version of the document then you should use the following document.
Download it onto your desktop (skrivbord) and save it as:
name_litquest_netversion
Turn off the access to the internet and start writing your document.
If any other documents and sources are used then your work will be disqualified.
This task is considered a test and should be carried out as such.
If you have any questions they should be sorted out immediately.
